I am posting my skywatch shot early because I wanted to drape both of my blogs in purple for Epilepsy Awareness on March 26 which is Purple Day. You can click on the button above or preceding link to learn more about purple day. I learned about this from Michele's beautiful blog, The Rocky Mountain Retreat. Michele is a wonderful photographer and she has epilepsy.
It was easier to come up with purple shots for my other blog because I didn't need sky shots. Since I wanted to combine Skywatch Friday and Purple Day on this blog, I finally settled on a purple morning glory reaching for the sky last summer. Please consider wearing purple on March 26 (today) to support Epilepsy awareness. You can click on the preceding links to learn more about epilepsy, and on the skywatch links to find other skies around the world.

I didn't know it was Purple Day - thanks for the awareness raising!
And that purple flower looks like a trumpet!
That is the glory of the morning! God bless your endeavor.
Hi Carver, I wore a purple jacket to bowls, in support and for awareness day.
Morning glory aptly named. Lovely picture and sentiment.
Very successful both ways.

I wish I had known this before. I shall have to do a belated post somehow. Lovely post today in support of a fellow blogger and all sufferers.
I like the DOF in this picture. You've focus on the flower itself beautifully. Well done!
Nicely done, very creaive!
Hey Carver:
Love your post. Looks like it was taken the same day, under the same Carolina blue sky as ours! Actually, we were in your neck of the state recently and snapped a few shots! Happy Skywatch Friday!
We all love Michele, nice purple flower.
Great post and it made me aware of something I did not know was going on.
Perfection
It's as if that lone flower is bugling to the sky: "Spring is HERE!"
Thank you... what a beautiful perspective of a wonderful flower.
You are a true artist and a terrific blogging friend.
Hugs and kisses♥
