Monochrome Weekend: Blowing Rock, NC four years ago


I shot this in color in October of 2006 but never posted it because the color wasn't satisfactory. Looking for a monochrome shot this week I thought I'd try changing this one from color to gray scale. I think it works better this way than it did in color.

It very often does - I suspect that it is a bit of sunshine falling on the forest in the background? You have captured the quiet of a forest.

It's really nice, the clour changes gradually from darker to lighter.
