If you look closely you might notice a tiny speck in the clouds above. Below is a shot after I zoomed in on the speck.

OMG, I loooove that first image. So wispy and so dreamy.
Can you feel the autumn in the air? It feels like fall out here.
Fantastic photos!Very beautiful!Have a great weekend!
What a terrific capture, Carver! And, yes, it's definitely a bird! I love it! And what lovely skies! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!
Sylvia
I love the first photo! What a gorgeous sky...
Great photos for sky watch Friday, the view is beautiful and catching birds in flight is not easy.

Fantastic captures. First shot is very nice.
Nice weather also over your head, and it gives the most wonderful pictures, once again .-)
Hugs from Anne
Ah, a photo with a mystery within. Love it. Happy Skywatching!
Is it an Eagle? WoW, I sure like that sky!
What nice, soothing images... And your header is also great!
God bless you!

Lovely! Happy skywatcing!
Beautiful wispy skies!
Great capture, - is it an eagle? It looks like an eagle....lovely sky picture.
The top one is soooo feathery! LOVE it!
A beautiful lyrical sky and the speck became a bird. Lovely.
i'm in awe of the first photo! there's something about the sky and clouds that make me want to relax and chill out for a second. :)
Great captures. I especially love the first one.
Have a great weekend.
That's a beautiful lake, great shot! I love your pictures of the greenway below, if I lived there I'd be on those trails all the time.
Shelley Lake in September. Does it get better? Okay, yeah, Carolina Beach in September. Alright, any beach anytime of year. But you get my point.
Thanks to everyone for visiting and I'm not sure but for those asking, I think the bird was a gull. It was pretty far away and there aren't usually many gulls at this lake this time of year (mostly geese, ducks, great blue herons and a few others) but there are gulls later in autumn and I think that's what it was (an early gull).
Lovely,
Lovely nature shots. We are finally getting some nice weather here.
I like the feathery clouds. Do you know what the bird is? Great shot.
Beautiful. North Carolina photos are hard for me to take these days, though. They remind me of the paradise I am missing!
Thanks for showing that "speck" which was a bird! Very nice SWF photo, indeed.

Enjoying this sky and REALLY enjoying your "H" is for hills. Makes me long for a trip to the mountains.
Love those clouds..we call them "Horse Tails" in the sky...beautiful Blue skies.
Love those skys, all you have to do is just look up to view a beautiful sight! Great photos.
Terrific shots.
Oh so fantastic! I saw the spot right! :) Became a lovely bird! :)
Is it an eagle? How beautiful! We've been having loads of those feathery clouds too. I love those.
Happy Friday, Happy Skywatching, and Happy Weekend!
