I like the way water can reflect layers which include the sky as well as trees and ground.

I agree Carver, and the reflections are so lovely. The scenery looks so quiet and peaceful. Looks like the spring has arrived?
My entry is here
Thanks for visiting. We are not in spring yet but have had some unusually warm days. It's getting cold again so I took advantage of the warm days. The bad thing is when the plants get mixed signals and think it's spring and then get hit by really cold weather. Our average last frost date isn't until sometime in April.
very calming, nice view to take a break from the every day
Very scenic beauty with lovely reflection.
Gorgeous! I, too, love the reflections of skies and clouds on the water as well as trees etc. It somehow really completes the scene so you see it twice from a different perspective! Terrific capture, Carver! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!

Lovely blue sky! Gotta love them especially this time of year!
Gorgeous sky and sky-reflection, Carver!

Love what reflections in water can do with a sky. This is lovely Carver! Nice place to sit and read a book.
A double dose of blue sky. Terrific!
Lucky you to be having warmer days. Your photo is beautiful and the reflections are lovely.
lovely reflections Carver, such a tranquil scene.
Yes the reflections on water captivates me too.
This photo looks like spring is coming soon. Great shot!

Water that flows. How beautiful. Thanks for radiating the warmth of your place. Gorgeous!
Carver, Thanks for sharing a picture of water in the liquid state. All we have in northern Indiana is ice and snow.
So calm and beautiful.
What a beautiful scene.
Happy SWF!
My SKY.
Lovely shot - the sky/water is sooo blue.
nice shot
happy SWF
I am surprised to see the lake ice free. You must have had a warm spell. Very nice indeed.
Oh yes, lovely reflections, and I agree with your comments about the layering Carver. Nice to see water, rather than ice!
