SkyWatch Friday: Speckled with clouds and blue speckled with leaves

Halloween morning was quite beautiful with blue skies speckled with clouds but it ended up pouring down rain on the tricker treaters that night. The temperatures dropped below freezing too but by then it had stopped raining.

It rained so hard that I had some fairy princesses run inside my house when I opened the door. The parent who was at the bottom of the steps under an umbrella was scandalized and hollered at the children not to run into my house. The children very sensibly replied, but it's raining. I gave them some candy and off they went.

We also had some all blue sky days with the leaves providing the speckled look.

I like the way leaves can make patterns against the sky much as clouds do.
