I enjoy unexpected reflections and shadows.
It amused me to see the water tower above reflected in an office building window.
The cats above and below were exploring the shadows on my next door neighbor's backyard.
It was quite a surprise to see the clivia miniata below reflected in my living room desk's cabinet.
Below is a shot of the clivia miniata in front of the window and to the right, facing the photo, is a corner of the cabinet that showed off its reflection in the previous shot.

About Me
- Carver
- My original site, Carver's Sight or is that Site, was inspired by reading the blogs of people who I got to know through the Melanoma Patient's Information Page (MPIP). As time has gone on, I find myself talking as much about gardening, photography, and other random thoughts as I do about melanoma follow up. I am happy about that. I have set up an additional site, Carver Cards, which is primarily a photoblog.

Lovely light casting reflections and shadows lend an air of mystery to these photos, Carver. The sun beaming through the yellow curtains onto the plant and what appears to be antique furniture gives the room a warm and cozy feel. It would be nice to step inside this picture to explore all the framed photographs that are also there.
Wonderful shots. That first one is stunning!
Yes, I like shadows and reflections in unexpected places too. :)
Great collection of shadows!
Those cats are having a little hunt, I think. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
What great captures for the day, Carver!! And I do love the cats! I, too, love finding shadows and reflections in unexpected places and one of the reasons I hate to be without my camera! Hope you have a lovely week!
