My World Tuesday: Watching the Fishing (NC - US)

I haven't fished since I was a child but I photographed human and bird fishing at Shelley Lake which is near my house in the triangle area of North Carolina (U.S.).

There are largemouth bass, catfish, sunfish, bream, crappie and carp in the lake according to the city website.

I enjoy watching birds fish and occasionally see them with a fish in their mouth but I've never caught a shot like that.

Mojo said...: This is so weird. If you'd taken this shot about 15 years ago, that could've been me. I used to go down there (in just about that very spot on that very dock) now and then and get a line wet. Never saw anything but some crappie and bluegill though. If there are bass in that lake, they're well hidden.

Nice catch on the gull. They're tough to catch in flight like that.
