This goose was literally and figuratively off kilter. She was standing at the entrance to a shopping area honking at the top of her lungs, several miles from any of the lakes or golf courses where the geese usually hang out. I don't know if it was the cold snap, being out of her comfort zone or some other issue but she was well and truly off kilter.
Rocks and other ornamental features in landscaping are visually pleasing when they are slightly off kilter.
I spend my life slightly off kilter. Click for the home of ABC Wednesday.

Bonjour Carver! Thanks for teaching me this new English word, I'm so concentrated in my French classes here, and I think I'm loosing a little bit my English. My mind is a little bit confused nowadays, maybe it's only a phase. So, I was searching more about this word and I'm happy learning here. Thanks so much!
These pictures are all beautiful, the cute critter posing for your camera and also the composition with stones and colorful flowers!
hugs
Léia
I love the word you used for K. That's how I feel sometimes..."Just a bit off kilter". ;0
Great K shots!
Thank you for the new word! I had to look it up. I hope you are now in kilter. Your photos are very beautiful. Perhaps the goose was looking for its partner?
I love geese, they are so funny, but they can be such pains in the
***'s
Great post. Left me with a big smile!
I loved your "K" post today, and believe me, I have been a bit off Kilter all my life.
Great post for the day, Carver, as always! Love your word and, yes, I too have been off kilter most of my life!! I also love the goose! Hope he finds his way home and that your week is off to a great start!!
Sylvia

Wonderful shots. I liked the shot of goose.
The rocks and flowers look fresh and spring like!
Poor goose! I know just how she feels!
I wonder if she lost her babies?
I feel like my life has always been off kilter too! Great 'k' choice!
Good post - I always thought off-kilter was a normal space!
The goose looks puzzled. Great word for the day, I know what you mean by living off kilter!
Wow! Excellent! I love the diversity and creativity we see each week on ABC Wednesday!
Denise (ABC Team & Founder)
I never thought of using that word - but geese do always stand off kilter.
What a great choice for K! It's hard to stay on an even keel, so I guess we all spend some time of our life 'off kilter'. Love the photo of the unhappy goose.
Now I know what kilter is :)
super impressive.
Cheers.
A bit of 'kilter' adds color to life. So glad to find the word today illustrated with beautiful pictures.

Well, I haven't heard "kilter" for a long time, and yet I live a little off kilter most of the time! HaHa
Great use of the letter "K"
May be her mates had flown to New Zealand. I don't usually use the word kilter, today I used kilt, may be men who wear kilts are out of kilter. LOL
Gorgeous Goose even if he is off kilter!!!
Oh gods, now I'm worried about this poor goose! :P
Kisses from Nydia.
