I don't have anything particularly special this week but I like the afternoon light on the tree.

i love how the afternoon sun falls on the tree trunks/branches. it's very pretty.
Wonderful view of blue sky through bare tree branches.
Do I detect a slight feeling of depression? That blue sky with a streak of soft cloud is very special indeed and I too love the light on the tree.
The light really highlights the branches. I love it when you can catch that special light.
Looks like the tree will soon be leafing out.
A blue sky looks good, even behind a naked tree :-)
Beautiful blue sky here. Love it
Oh, I love those wonderful blue skies through the bare tree limbs. Terrific capture! However, like Arija, I would ask if I hear a bit of wintry depression? I think there's quite a bit of that going around this year!! Have a great weekend, Carver!
Sylvia
special enough for me...I see those tiny buds getting ready to open!!!
Ah, but you're wrong. THIS is particularly special.

I like the beautiful light on the trees too. That is such a bright and blue sky. Photos of leafless trees are some of my favorites along with rural landscapes. I want to thank you for your continuing support of my blog. I do appreciate all of you thoughts so much. Hope you have a lovely weekend. It is almost here :-)
I like the color reflected on the tree and the blue sky is so pretty!
SWF
The special light towards the end of the day makes any shot special.
Soon the green leaves will block the blue sky.
It IS very pretty, warming. Soon that tree will have little green buds that in the blink of an eye will be bushy green leaves.
I agree, I too love the light on the tree. it's very special and beautiful. don't despair, spring is on its way. happy SWF, and have a beautiful weekend!
Yes, it's all golden and sparkly, and the blue sky is a wonderful background.
"Nothing special" ? - right [not]. The tree and the sky is perfect for Skywatch - and it's always a pleasure to visit here.
PS: Spring *is* on the way. We had more snow last night, and even so, it still feels like winter is leaving.
wow! very nice,,,,great to be here. Hope you can check out my Skywatch entry as well. Thanks!
It looks special to me, a beautiful sky shot. Happy skywatching!
It must have been a chilly day with the sky so clear and blue
