The folk art museum in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia has a great collection of quilts.
The lighting wasn't great for photography but I managed to get a representative sample of some of the quilts on display.
The little light spots are somewhat annoying but I did my best.

Considering the lighting, you did a great job of capturing the images of these lovely quilts, Carver! The intricate designs must have taken a very long time to complete. The eye-straining patience and dedication to perfection is obvious in the finished work. These are a precious bit of history, indeed!
Those quilts are beautiful!
Adorable collection of quilts, I think the first one is my favorite, it's so charming! :)

Happy ABC!
I think you did a terrific job of capturing these, Carver! And what gorgeous quilts they are! Surely a great choice for the Q Day! I can only imagine the time and patience required to make one of these -- particularly at that time! Amazing! Hope your week is going well!

Wonderful, Carver. I just sent a link to one of my best friends who is a quilter, because I think she'd love to see your photos of these grand old quilts.
