ABC Wednesday: D is for Dirt

Dirt so dry even rain doesn't penetrate, running off instead.

More dry dirt and a dugout too.

It's sad to see everything so dry and dusty. I hope when the rains come they are moderate . . .

Wonderful captures and really nice choice.

I like the way you used the letter D.
Our weather has been so moderate the summer we aren't suffering from the dryness like we usually have.
Great shots and I like the way you included the dugout in the mix.

We've gone from flood to waterfree in a short few months. The weather has been chaotic. Excellent pictures and narrative. Good wishes for a gentle and soaking rain.

Somehow 'dirt' seems very different to 'earth', which we visualize as being vibrant and full of life. Water is ever the difference!
