SkyWatch Friday: Change Galore

The fog was so thick I almost missed seeing the female cardinal below.
We've had a lot of foggy gray days but continue to get a variety of skies in spite of that.
Blue has been in the minority so I've taken a lot of shots whenever blue arrives.
I like the sky when it's like the one below.
I'm surprised how many sunset shots I've gotten.
I've mentioned this on other posts but it seems like sometimes the sun comes out just enough at the end of the day for sunset.
I had one good day this week for a walk.
One is better than none.
Sometimes the clouds make me think of a large moving balloon.
Hard to explain but it's as if the clouds could transport me away into the sky.
I like the way the clouds painted the water white in the next shot.
At home the afternoon light was pretty.
There was a lot of variety in the sky.
A hint of the setting sun below.
The last two shots are of a sunrise.
The rest of that day was all gray.

Your first photo is very reminiscent of the fog that covers much of the West Coast in my world on winter mornings. I like the mysterious effect.

I love seeing the contrast and variety of your skies. Must add though that you are a champion at making gray skies so intriguing..mysterious and lovely. (Maybe we'd still be in Oregon in the winter if I had developed that talent!)
