Although we've continued to have a lot of gray skies some color has peeked through in the afternoon.
I like the soft pastel colors.
There is a particular quality to light in the winter that I enjoy.
I wouldn't mind a bit more sun but even so there have been some good sky watching moments.
Winter branches appeal to me.
It's fun to watch the gradual changes from minute to minute at the end of the day.
The next shot has one of my favorite kinds of clouds.
The sky changes quickly when fronts blow through.
There is so much movement.
The cotton ball clouds behind the cedars make an interesting background.
It makes me think of someone tossing cotton balls across the sky.
One afternoon that was totally gray ended up with a hint of color at sunset.
There's something mysterious to me about this kind of sky.
The rest of the shots were taken on one of the few mornings with blue skies.
I like the way the morning light gave the trees a reddish tone.
The birds were flying by my bedroom window to land on a tree for me to zoom in with my camera.
