Guess what happened on Saturday night. A ghostly ghoul played with the glowing moon and tossed it in a great pattern on the sky.
After the ghost retreated the moon settled down into a muted glow.
On Sunday night the glowing moon was joined by the slight glimmer of a glowing star.
Last is another shot of the glowing moon on Sunday night.

Our World Tuesday: Saturday Walk
Saturday was a windy, chilly, and sunny day which turned out to be good for a walk.
This was the second time I saw a group fencing outside in the field beside the lake.
There were a lot of strong shadows that caught my eye.
The goose took its shadow for a walk.
I always like the shadows that bridges cast.

The Weekend in Black and White: Gliding Gulls
I have been enjoying photographing the gulls at Shelley Lake.

SkyWatch Friday: A little bit of Everything
It is amazing how much the weather changes back and forth this time of the year, and with it the sky changes.
When looking through my shots for sky watch it seemed that change was reflected enormously in the sky.
It has felt like winter one day and spring the next for much of this month.
I like the changes although I'm hoping it won't get too warm too fast.
I've already had one day when a few ants started coming inside but they got hit by the cold and disappeared quickly.
I admit to killing the few ants that came inside.
I like almost all living creatures but some I don't welcome in my house.
I think the shot below looks like the aliens are landing.
The shots in this post were taken from last Thursday through this Tuesday.
I love winter trees and have been shooting them a lot before they start getting new growth.
I liked the moody sky with the evergreens below.
I like the mix of blue and white in the shot below.
I heard the titmouse in the tree below before I saw it.
The dogwood below is starting to show signs of buds.

ABC Wednesday: F is for Frozen
First I thought I'd show you my frozen daffodils.
I have missed not having snow this winter so I didn't mind the frozen mix.
I went out early Monday to snap some frozen shots before it melted.

Our World Tuesday: A mix of shots and places
Thursday morning before the rain poured down, a friend and I went for a walk at Shelley Lake in Raleigh, NC.
Later that same day I had to go to Durham NC for work.
I took a bunch of pictures in Grace Garden as well as some facing the Durham Farmer's Market Pavilion and Park.
I love the sculpture that is in front of the pavilion.
I like the variety of seats in Grace Garden.
The red table and seats are in the park across the street from the garden.
Back in the garden is another sculpture I like.
The shadows were very strong when facing the sculpture in another direction.
The last shot I took Sunday night. We finally got a little snow after the first winter in a long time without any. I've missed not having any snow this winter and this is better than none at all.

The Weekend in Black and White: Cows Hanging Out
Every time I see cows or horses hanging out in pastures within the city limits I do a double take.
