Today's Flowers: Same tree as last week different blossom

I like to find blossoms at different phases on the same tree. The tree is near where I park at work and provides shade for my car as well as photo opportunities.

ABC Wednesday: T is for Tired
I shot this too tired traveler from a distance while going on a lunch break walk. I guess it may be an infringement of privacy but since he was in a city park garden and not in his own bed, the expectation of privacy may be less. I think he was on his lunch break too. I took the shot on one of the few chilly days last week which made it a good walking day for me.

Nature Notes: Heron keeping an eye on the dam water regulator
May has been a relatively pleasant month with a lot of weather variations. We've had a few hot days but mostly moderate temperatures and even some chilly nights which I like. I hope June will be moderate for me and for the wildlife.

Photohunters: Yellow and Mirror
I had to go back to an old early November shot to combine yellow and mirror and it's a stretch at that. The yellow leaves (as well as the other colors) are mirrored in the lake.

Combined Nature Notes and ABC Wednesday: S is for Shade
We are moving into the shady time of year where I live. The deciduous trees lining the streets are wearing their new leaves.

Combo Photohunters - Water and Abstract and The Weekend in Black and White
In case you are wondering, this is a three foot empty planter on my deck that filled all the way to the top with water overflowing from my gutters this Thursday. I took the shot around 7:30 pm Thursday evening.

Photohunters: Streets and Sport
I dug up an old shot I took in Bedford, Virginia when we were driving on the streets and spotted a group of young people engaging in a sport.

SkyWatch Friday: Early May
I decided to start limiting myself to either one shot per post or a montage with multiple shots in one image.
I couldn't do that this week because I wanted a full size shot instead of a montage but couldn't decide on which one.
The first shot is a NC sunset on May 1 and the second shot is a May 2 sunset from my same bedroom window.
I like how fresh the green leaves are this time of year when they are new on the deciduous trees and vines.
The new canopies cover the sky on trails and provide pleasant shade as the temperatures rise.
