SkyWatch Friday: Sky over and through the Gyre by Thomas Sayre in NCMA Park

Note- I am editing this because from a comment I could tell I wasn't clear. The Gyre is the sculpture by Thomas Sayre and is located in the NC Museum of Art's Museum Park. I took this photograph while walking around the park.

My first thought was hollowed-out sections of the mighty Redwood.

Quite pleasing to the eye, whatever it is. I love these last few pics!

Thanks to everyone for visiting. I edited my post because I could tell I didn't really make it clear. As I said in the new note, I photographed this walking around the NC Museum of Art's Museum park and the sculpture is titled the Gyre and the artist who created this work is Thomas Sayre.

Thanks so much to everyone for visiting. To answer a question, I thought I'd mention that there are picnic tables in the park. The museum also have indoor and outdoor programs for children.
