Monochrome Monday: I'd love to fixer up

This house in Downtown Durham, NC seems to call out for a little love. That's not to say that my house doesn't need some major repairs but my house isn't as interesting to me as this old one. To find other participants, please visit the home of Monochrome Monday.

A bit of a classic shot - the kind that is always interesting.

Good subject for monochrome though!

A part of me would love to live in an old house, fix it up, etc. But then I think I wouldn't be up to all the work :-)

It does beg to be done up. Just perfect for the mono slot.

The details are just beautiful. I love old houses with soules. Great monochrome photo :)

I love the details in your picture, for instance, the ploor before the door that raises up.
All details are more visible in B&W it attracts the attention.
Well-done.

I'll bet with a bit of sprucing up that one would be a real gem. Nice catch.

Like you, I love the older houses, at least to photograph. Very nifty.

Oh yes. So much detail, and it shows so much better in monochrome than with the distraction of colour.
