That's My World - More shots from Greensboro, NC

Photobucket

Greensboro, NC is about 75 miles from where I live and I often pass it on the highway on my way to somewhere else. I've been posting a lot of shots of Greensboro lately because having some time to kill while waiting for a late flight, I was able to take a lot of photographs both from the car and walking around.

I can't tell you anything about the first shot except that the church caught my eye as we drove by. The second shot includes the cultural center I featured last week but this time I'm shooting the 3 triangles of the roof line from the back. The shot below is a mix of buildings I shot as we zoomed by.

For my last shot I have a teaser in a way. I was able to shoot a bit of the mural that lies behind the archway while we were stuck in traffic. I would like to go back sometime and see what the whole mural looks like.

Wonderful shots!
And thanks! I like it (My World) actually even more than Skywatch, for it has a bit more substance and you learn so much. So I'm glad I came up with it. :)

Hi Carver, the second shot interests me. The 3 green triangles, could they be some kind of a sunroof (free natural light? Great angle shot on the last one.

Interesting snippets of this and that. I hope when you are back there you also re-visit the church and get a shot of the rose-wheel window from the inside.
