Dona Nobis Pacem (Blog Blast for Peace) and Peaceful skies for SkyWatch Friday

My main post for the 2009 Blogblast for Peace is on my other blog, Carver's Sight or is that Site. However I wanted both of my blogs to fly my peace globe so I'm also posting my globe here along with peaceful skies for SkyWatch Friday. I discuss this more on my other blog, but I also want to mention here that the reason I include Playing For Change - Peace through music on my peace globe is I want to highlight a specific foundation that gives me hope. There are so many reasons for despair that I have to remind myself sometimes of collaborations between people across the world for peace and change.

Mimi Writes is the creator of Blogblast for Peace and you can find more participants at her site on November 5. I thought that the shot below worked for a peaceful skywatch. I'm betting the person sitting on that bench has her head in a peaceful cloud.

For more skies across the world, please visit the home of skywatch friday starting Thursday afternoon. I'm posting early.

I LOVE that shot. In fact, I think I'd have shot it just that way.

And I completely understand the idea of finding and promoting those people and groups that bring peace to you -- and others. My theme is much the same this year. These are groups working for positive change, and their efforts need to be celebrated.

Beautiful skies, and a great organization to promote too. I love what they do, and I believe with all my heart that music truly can change the world given half a chance.

Beautiful photograph ;-)
Lovely way to spread thoughts of peace. I'll share skies tomorrow, but for now I'm trying to visit as many Peace Posts as possible. Thanks so much for visiting 3 of my blogs and leaving such lovely comments. I have a 4th Peace Post you might enjoy here ... if time permits.
Hugs and blessings,

What an amazing perspective! We are so small compared to the vast universe! This photo illustrates that concept so well! Beautiful!

This is GOOD! I wish I had the same photo opportunity to take this shot too; and I also wish I were the one sitting on that bench enjoying the show on the big blue sky!!
