The Weekend in Black and White: Creek Crossing

I guess my title isn't accurate because although the stepping stones would make a great creek crossing, the fallen tree is in the way. I suppose there are small animals who would find the tree handy for scampering across.

A lovely scene. The crossing seems not to be frequently used by humans.

Devoid of color, the scene became beautiful of the mystery it evokes. I didn't even notice the stepping stones. I was busy observing the fallen tree!

This looks a lot like the creek in our front yard after these last 2 days of hard rain. There are branches, twigs, and leafy stuff everywhere. I love the way the light is poking through. It is hitting foe of the tiniest things. A really nice shot....Kudos.
