The Weekend in Black and White: Ice as a painter


When I empty the ice from the bird bath it makes pictures through melting and refreezing.

This is absolutely fascinating. I know you just love it when you are able to capture such an image. It is especially nice in black and white. All I can do is shoot on top of our hot tub turned goldfish pond, and I get some interesting shots, too.

At first glance I thought this was wooden. There is such a great variety of textures, a cool (pardon the pun) photo.
