ABC Wednesday: L is for linear

Linear is a pretty wide open L word since lines are everywhere.

Rather than run the risk of getting lost in my photo archives I went with random shots with strong linear aspects.

Since I have labeled my photo folders with key words for easy searches, I used alleghany as the search word.
001abcwedlinIMG_4034
The reason I did that is the alleghany trail near my house has lots of bridges.
001ABCwedlineIMG_4025
Even little foot bridges tend to have many lines.
001abcwedlineIMG_4032
Foot bridges in the woods have the long vertical lines of the lush trees as well as the horizontal lines of the bridges.

The side rails have vertical and horizontal lines. Click for the home of ABC Wednesday.

I am feeling bridge deprived and thus, linear deprived as we only have a handful of bridges here. Brilliant post!

What a great walk, those bridges are great, and work well with the L theme. Someone really takes care of those trails too.

Clever theme and great photos! I love the character of the wooden bridges, but that perky splash of cheery red on the last bridge makes it my favorite!
