The Weekend in Black and White: Old revealed under new

I couldn't help but wonder if someone refurbished the old barn with inexpensive materials. It's noticeable that new siding was placed on top of on old wooden barn at some point but now the new siding is peeling off.

In its transition, the barn is certainly presenting an
assortment of textures, each worth photographing in themselves. An interesting shot!

Hi Carver,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting.
It's interesting photography and you have nice eyes to find it. It's like a stratum, maybe in the future, you will see another new part on top of this current barn:))
Have a wonderful weekend.

Somebody did a real poor job. I don't like the new material at all. It's a beautiful barn underneath.

Beautiful! This is something I don't get to see much in my part of the world. Good choice of a mono effect :)

the barn looks like it stood through tough old time already, very nice for the theme.

Just shows that there's no substitute for good materials. Makes for great patterns though!

I'm sorry I'm so late visiting - a very busy weekend!
