The Bad Weather & Colours Photohunters and Today's Flowers

This week the two photohunt words (bad weather and colours) worked well with Today's Flowers. Update: I accidentally used colors at first so I went back and changed the spelling to the photohunt word colours.

My daffodils above were beaten down by sleet and snow this Monday as well as by cold weather but the colours still shine through.

Pansies are particularly hardy and the one above was partially sheltered in a raised bed against an office building.

In spite of bad weather the hellebore above was showing a bit of its colors. Click here for the bad weather photohunt. Click here for the Colours photohunt. Click here for Today's Flowers

Oh poor poor daffodils. (In Oregon we too often had a hard rainstorm just after they popped open. A good year was when they lasted more than a few days.)...Although I must say right now they need rain there more than they need daffys.

Anyway, hope you get some good and lasting spring weather soon

I'm jealous that you have flowers blossoming already! They look beautiful against the snow, really brings out their colours! (I fear I might have been responsible for that "u", it's how we spell things up here in Canada!) :)

Inspite of the bad weather, the flowers are blossoming! We are experiencing a dry spell and our plants are dying.

Hi Carver --

I agree that the two Photo Hunt themes this week go well with each other. Makes things quite a bit easier for those of us who continue to participate in both Sandi's and Gattina's memes. :)

Ah, brave little flowers, showing their colors, even against the continuing winter weather. Wonderful shots.

Love the colours in those shots - perfect for this week's theme. We still have 2 - 3 feet of snow on the ground -no colourful flowers here. SIGH

Have a super weekend.

Lucky that you at least have flowers! We are still completely covered in snow. It's just now melting. Beautiful photos for both themes!

Sorry to see your daffodils were beaten down by the weather! I hope they stood back up again once they dried off.

It's so sad seeing flowers mixed with ice! But summer is coming!
